Data retention
Detrics caches processed data temporarily with periodic invalidation based on data source design. Caches may last from minutes to longer periods with user permission. Access tokens are encrypted and stored securely for scheduled background data retrieval. We only retain the minimum amount of data necessary to run the service.
Website & payment security
All Detrics services use TLS 1.2/1.3 encryption by default. HTTP connections redirect automatically to HTTPS, so every request travels encrypted. Our payment processing is handled by external providers that are PCI-DSS compliant.
Data connectors
APIs and connections to destinations like Google Sheets and Looker Studio use SSL encryption by default. All data transfers between platforms are encrypted in transit, at every step between the source API and your destination.
Permissions
OAuth tokens grant read-only access to data sources. Users can revoke tokens from Detrics or original service portals at any time. We only request the permissions needed to fetch and sync your data, so you decide what we can reach and for how long.
Infrastructure & safeguards
We use firewalls and authentication in line with industry practice. Google Cloud Platform is our infrastructure provider, maintaining SOC 1/2-3, PCI-DSS, and ISO27001 compliance. We layer several controls on top of that to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
Company policies
All employees are required to maintain data security. Two-factor authentication, VPN, and strict password controls govern administrative access. Annual security training is mandatory for all team members. Detrics is a GDPR-compliant organization.
